I have a 2015 KTM 1190 Adventure R which had a slight clunk feeling/sound in the steering head bearing area. I could easily replicate this clunk if the bike was stationary and I apply the front brake then manually compress and release the front forks by shifting my weight onto and off of the handle bars.

The 790 Adventure is geared just a tad too high for slower, technical riding or holeshots but the smaller front gear fixes this nicely. Despite that, the stock 790 will run the ¼ mile in about 11.5 seconds with a competent pilot at the helm.
